Create new service:
Start this way: Go to Settings and click Services. Select "create new service" (direct link: https: //kund.bokadirekt.se/Beta/Settings/SubscriberServiceAdd.aspx)
Name and service description: Select the name and describe the service carefully. Describe the service well and use synonyms for the service's name and properties - it will lead to more traffic from search engines.
Visibility: Choose whether the service should be public (so that your customers can book it themselves) or internally (so that only you or your colleagues can book times when you are logged in to the calendar)
Price and duration: Also determine the price and length of the service. These must be entered but can be hidden on the booking page. Click in hide price or length of time to hide them.
Group title: By selecting a group header, you can group the new service together with other similar services. Select the same group header for the services to be grouped together.
Number of people who can book on the same time: Under advanced settings you can choose how many people can book the service at the same time. If there is more bookable spots than 1, enter the maximum number here (eg spin class with room for 30 people etc.).
Pause after booking: Do you want a break after treatment, eg. to clean in order or pay, you should enter the number of minutes here.
Color: Here you can specify your own color for different services in the calendar. In this way you can easily see which service is booked just by seeing what color the next booking has.
Then click save.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you save the settings above, you need to add the new service to your calendar! Go to Settings and click on your calendars name. Choose Basic Settings, check new service and save. If the service should be bookable at all times in the calendar; click yes on the question "Update existing opening hours".
Create new calendar:
In case another person wants a calendar in the system then you should add a new calendar. Before adding the calendar, there are a few points to consider:
Adding a new calendar entails a cost (if you do not have a large number of free calendars)
The cost of a new calendar is stated in your agreement. Double check with your contact person or email@example.com if you are unsure of the cost
If you add a new calendar, you are responsible for deleting the calendar if you are no longer in need of it.
Here's how to create another calendar:
Start like this: Go to Settings and Calendar. Select Create New Calendar. (Quick Link: https: //kund.bokadirekt.se/Beta/Settings/SubscriberResourceAdd.aspx)
Name: Select the name of who or what can be booked in the calendar.
Time interval: Decide what time the calendar should display. If you normally work between 8-17 but sometimes between 7 and sometimes 20 then you should choose a time interval between 7-20. If you always work between 8-17, choose 8-17.
Place: If you have several receptions or addresses that you want to connect to your Bokadirekt account, you should choose which place the new calendar should be linked to.

6.3 Gift cards: With Bokadirekt's gift card service, your customers can easily buy gift cards digitally with you, around the clock, on your booking page. The cost is 5% of the purchased amount.
Field: Here you decide which information should be visible and mandatory to fill in for your customers when they book. The Notes field allows you to set the name yourself by changing the "Alias for Notes".
Calendar interval: You can decide for yourself what interval your calendar should be displayed. If you want to enter bookings and opening hours carefully, you should choose 10 or 15 minute intervals.
Booking rules: Choose how close to a time your customers can book the time and how close to the time it is possible to cancel the same time.
SMS: It is possible to send a variety of automatic SMS with the system. E.g. reminder SMS to both the customer and the person connected to the calendar. Do not forget to enter a mobile phone number for the person connected to the calendar further down below the calendar settings under personal information so that the system knows where the SMS should be sent.
Confirmation and booking texts: You can customize all texts in SMS, e-mail confirmations and reminders.
Use the codes under each function so that the system automatically selects the service name, price and start time based on the information in the booking.
Personal Information: Be sure to fill in the personal data that should be linked to the calendar. Booking confirmations via email will automatically go to the email provided. The same applies to phone numbers and SMS.
Synchronization: Do you want to synchronize for example your iPhone or Android phone with your Book Direct Calendar then follow the instructions below the sync section.
Your Public page:
Here you present yourself and your company:
Under Settings, click the tab Places.
Click on the place name / company name.
Under Basic Settings:
Upload image / log
Enter the visit address, telephone and possible website address.
Describe the business. Present yourself and the company.
Opening hours. Here you can enter eg the general opening hours of the salon.
Under Picture Gallery you can upload 3 pictures to your company.
Under advanced settings:
Select Trades that you belong to.
Select which URL you want to be able to book on. This will be your direct link to your calendar, it can also be used as a website address if you do not have a website today.
On the remaining settings, choose the option that best suits your business.
In the text box "Message on your public booking page" You can write information to the customer as eg Offer during week 38 ..... Here you can change the size and color of the text and it will end up above the list of your services.
Don't forget to press the Save button before changing the page.
1. Go to Create Openings under the Booking Calendar. (direct link: https: //kund.bokadirekt.se/Beta/Calendar/CalendarOpeningsAsWeekView.aspx)
2. Choose the times that should be open by clicking on them. You can also mark the whole day by pressing fill, (just above the first time cell of a day).
3. To close opening hours (and not receive bookings at these times). Click on the gray opening hours to make them white = closed opening hours.
4. Don't forget to always press the save changes button (button to your upper right) after making changes on a week!
5. Once you've saved a week, you can create a week schedule. This is done to your lower left. When you've created the week schedule, you can load it onto a chosen amount of weeks ahead.
Booking a time:
Enter the Bookings (Week) or Bookings (Place) view to access the booking calendar.
Select service from the drop-down list to your upper left.
Choose a time in the calendar (suggested a green but you can also book in white times)
Search for the customer in the address book by clicking New person to enter a new customer.
Enter the details of the customer. When you are logged into the calendar, it shows which fields are mandatory for the customer to enter, you can however book without entering the mandatory fields.
Click Book, at the bottom of the page. (if you chose a white time in the calendar, it will say that you're forcing the booking)
You now come to the page with the booking information.
On this page you can edit the date and time of the booking.
You can also cancel / rebook the time by clicking on the button with the same name. Remember to save after changes are made to the booking.
In the View (week) view, time will appear as red.
Below is a description of how to use the all-in-one calendar.
Right-click on the time you want to enter an opening time.
Select add opening.
You have now opened a new window. Here you select the start time and end time, and what services you should be able to book at this time.
In the Bookings (list) view you can get a list of all available times / bookings / cancellations for all calendars or just a specific calendar for a certain period of time.
Select a specific calendar. (If you want to see the information on several calendars simultaneously, choose the blank field on "Calendar")
Select specific service. (If you want to see the information on several services at the same time, choose the blank field on "Select service")
Choose from which date you want to see information. (Type in the field everything click on the small green calendar icon)
Choose how far you want to see information.
Filter the information by entering a keyword in the "filter the booking" field
Group by choosing day, service or calendar.
Select to display information on Bookable Times, Reservations and / or Cancellations.
The list you get is exportable to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx).
